GIVING KARATE A BAD NAME
A former karate teacher from the state of Minnesota in the United States of America, who used to teach the martial arts form to young kids in South Elgin and Roselle was found guilty of sexually assaulting two teenage students and was convicted at the local court.
According to the counsel, the case was pretty clear that the 43 year old man, named Dean Fuerstenberg had had sexual contact with the two minors, one aged 13 and the other aged 18 when the incidents happened.
What is Karate?
Karate is a martial art that first began in Japan way back in the 5th century BC! Your aim is to defeat your opponent by using a mix of kicking and striking. At it's very core, this martial art attacks by the hand, fist, legs and elbow against the vulnerable parts of your opponents body such as the carotid artery, liver, etc.

KARATE CAMP SEES GREAT PARTICIPATION
A Karate camp held in the Jamnagar received outstanding support from the nearby areas. Sarah Razvi, probation ASP, Jamnagar who had attended the closing ceremony of the camp, was impressed with the confidence that the girls demonstrated. Razvi also gave the girls some tricks and tips for self protection. While claiming that Gujarat was the most safe state for girls in the country, "for self confidence, safety and security, girls should learn karate," insisted Razvi, adding that it can build self confidence in women.

Hira is the second world champion to join forces with the East Street gym following Brazilian Jiu Jitsu world champion Braulio Estima as well as Coventry’s own MMA instructor, Dave Thomas.
BRISTOL KICKBOXER MAKING A NAME
A Bristol kickboxer is making a huge name in the field of kickboxing and he has become a famous person already. Branded "the boy no one wants to fight" by his coach, Ryan Edmundson has been living up to his tag with seven knockouts in his last seven kickboxing fights.
The 18-year-old, from Frampton Cotterell, has been battering "full-grown men" in the ring since he was 16 as his coach says he cannot get opponents his own age to fight him.
Ryan only started training four years ago, learning the sport and working through the various belts of the martial art.
SAIF LEARNS KICK BOXING
Saif is currently learning kickboxing from his Agent Vinod. Saif trained under Ziauddin Khatib, a three-time world kickboxing champion, for his role in Agent Vinod. “We trained for two to three hours daily. Saif was a very good student and trained religiously. He always came on time, though he had many things to handle (he is also producing the film). He even went beyond the training necessary to learn sparring so that it will give that extra edge to his fights,” Mid-day quoted Khatib as saying.
